QTIPOCALYPSE is having a collective meeting! <3

On with the gay! Beloved QTIPOCs*, come one and come all to the QTIPOCALYPSE General Collective Meeting! We are searching far and wide for new self-identified QTIPOC* collective members to bottomline organizing and action FUN with us! Being on the collective is awesome — it is a radical, social, and well-fed space with a great deal of flirtatious and friendship-y devices. We have a man-date to share, dance parties to dream up, direct action ideas to circulate, and a world to create with you. If you are also interested in hearing who we are, what we’re about, offering ideas, and sharing food in a NSA (no strings attached) way, we welcome you!

This is a potluck, so feel free to bring delicious treats! We will supply plates, cups, cutlery.

*QTIPOC: Queer and Trans folks who are also Indigenous and People of Colour. This meeting is open to all people who identify as QTIPOC. We thank our allies in advance for not attending.

Who is QTIPOCALYPSE?
We are QTIPOCs; Indigenous, mixed race, and/or racialized folks who also experience oppression based on their gender identity or sexual orientation, including, but not limited to Two-Spirit, trans, intersex, gender queer/non-conforming, bisexual, lesbian, gay, queer, asexual, questioning, and/or people who do not label their gender or sexual orientation.

What do we do?
We strive to build and strengthen a sense of community for Indigenous, mixed race, and/or racialized folks who also experience oppression based on their gender identity or sexual orientation, including, but not limited to Two-Spirit, trans*, intersex, gender queer/non-conforming, bisexual, lesbian, gay, queer, asexual, questioning, and/or people who do not label their gender or sexual orientation. We do this by organizing social, political, and education events, such as workshops, potlucks, dance parties, town hall/community forums, etc.
